Veneers are very thin coverings bonded to the front of the tooth to correct the shape, color or positioning of the tooth or teeth. We provide the best materials in our office, including porcelain, for our custom veneers. Light-reflecting porcelain resists stains and is very durable. Porcelain veneers are used to correct a wide variety of dental problems including restoring the shape and function of worn or damaged teeth, filling gaps and correcting discoloration.
CEREC Crowns are also known as same-day crowns because they can be made right in our office during your appointment! A crown is a natural-looking ceramic covering used to restore the look and function of a tooth which is damaged or not functioning well. The best way to find out if a crown or some other option is right for you is to schedule an appointment with one of our expert dentists. A dental implant is often the best replacement for a missing tooth or multiple teeth. An implant is actually made up of a post implanted into the jaw bone, an abutment that is placed on the post, and a very natural-looking ceramic crown that is placed on the abutment. Once the implant is complete, the new replacement "tooth" looks, feels and performs very much like your natural tooth. The crown for the implant is created right in our office using a state-of-the-art CEREC crown fabricating machine. There are various configurations of dental implants required for different situations when there are multiple missing teeth. Dr. Pries does an excellent job of explaining each dental procedure so that the patient understands exactly what is needed and what will be done.
A dental bridge is made to fill a gap caused by multiple missing teeth. Crowns are placed on the anchoring teeth on either side of the “bridge.” The bridge is created in a dental lab from impressions taken in the office. Dr. Pries and his team use the latest technology to precisely fit your bridge. Once your bridge is perfectly fitted, eating and speaking will be easier. We will discuss this procedure in greater detail at your consultation.
